Married mother of 2, PA-C and associate professor of the Nova Southeastern University PA Program
6:30am – Wake up time for my kids. The morning is filled with making breakfast and lunches and getting the kids dressed and ready for school.
8:15am – Out of the house and on our way!
9:30am – Kids are at school and my day starts with either rounds or answering emails
3:00pm – Pick up the kids from school and home by 4:00
5-5:30pm – Dinner
5:30-6pm – Either homework or the baseball field for practice or games
7-7:30pm – Kids are showered and in bed (unless we are at baseball)
7:30-8:30 – Finish up any loose ends from work and relax with my husband
9:00pm – Counting sheep!!!
The weekends are reserved for quality family time, baseball, housework and a lot of relaxing! I have to give credit where credit is due…. My husband helps A LOT with the kids, housework, dinners etc…
Thank you for sharing! As a mom and aspiring PA, it’s nice to see how it’s doable day-to-day! My application is in at NOVA Orlando, and I’m just waiting to see if they will interview me.
